The main goal of this project is to promote tree planting on farmers’ farms, riverbanks, schools, and public land, especially agroforestry trees, promoting reforestation and building the capacity of the communities involved directly and who play a bigger role in establishing the tree nurseries to raise seedlings that will be given out to schools and other neighboring groups.
The main purpose of the project is to increase the tree cover from 1% to over 50% and have the capacity of the communities to build on the importance of tree cover recovery and diversity.
RIDEP supports the communities to establish and manage tree nurseries and tree planting.
